Scott Ferber is a Partner at King & Spalding, where he advises multinational businesses on the full range of legal issues created by global data collection, use, storage, sharing, and transmission, including data breach prevention, incident response, regulatory enforcement, and breach-related litigation. Prior to King & Spalding, Scott held senior positions at the Department of Justice (DOJ). Most recently, Scott served as Counsel for Cyber Investigations at DOJ’s National Security Division, where he developed and led investigations involving international cyber threats. Before that, Scott was Associate Deputy Attorney General at DOJ, providing counsel to the Deputy Attorney General and Attorney General on cyber policy and national security issues. Scott previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Atlanta and Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
